  • Shoes by JM. WESTON

The JM Weston saga dated back to the year 1891, when Mr Edouard Blanchard founded a shoes factory in the Limoges city. The region was well know for its leather work due to live-stocks activity. 15 years later, his son Eugène Blanchard decided to travel to the USA and learn the american boot-makers’ craft in Weston city (Massachusetts). He imported back the “Goodyear” stitching technique, which allows shoes to be resole in the long term.
