Created in 1970 in the Jura mountains area (east of France) by Louis Janod, the brand was initially dedicated to local wood toys and games.

It is well-known for toddlers toys and pretend plays, but JANOD also diversified its ranges: cardboard puzzles, games, outdoor accessories, arts & craft boxes.

The JANOD products met success in France and abroad. But the consequence is that only 35 % of the products are 100% manufactured in France ( remaining part comes from East Europe and Asia).

One of their best sellers products is the magnetic wood puzzle (France, Europe or World map).
