The Filt1860 company was funded in 1860 in Normandy (Caen city) by peasants : they used to braid their own crops bags or nets.

160 years later, the company is still there ! They are specialized in braiding synthetic or natural fiber nets for food, sports, aviary, leisure, baby carrier mesh wraps, candle wicks…etc. In 2017, Filt1860 was awarded with the french EPV label (Living Heritage Company) for its traditional know-how.

And Jean-Philippe and Catherine Cousin (new owners since 2006) had the excellent idea to bring up to date the provision net product.

It became a useful and trendy product, full of colors, with even great success outside France !

Evidence of this is their collaboration with the well-known bags brand Longchamp in 2020…!
