This is the story of 3 friends. Mrs Christiane Montadre-Gautrot (interior decorator), Mr Yves Coueslant (theater designer and manager) et Mr Desmond Knox-Leet (painter).

In 1961, they decided to create a nice boutique in the Saint Germain des Prés district , in order to sell…. whatever they liked ! A chic version of a little bazaar. With their own creations (perfumes, candles) or with selected products from other countries.

Their first boutique had 2 identical windows on each side of the entry, like a diptych in painting…the origin of the brand name “DIPTYQUE“.

Interior decoration, beauty products and more… this concept store has been successful for 60 years now  ! But still with this same DNA of luxury fragrances.

Now DIPTYQUE offers made in France  perfumes, candles and  home fragrances

But also perfumes and beauty care products
